This is a tough topic for me as I am from New York. However, this is a great packet for ESS and SEI students, makes it easy to understand and explain.

This resource is very organized and easy for students and families to follow. I really like the clear weekly homework routine and the space for spelling words. The layout is simple, student-friendly, and perfect for keeping homework expectations consistent throughout the week. I also appreciate that each day has a different activity, which gives students a variety of ways to practice their spelling words

My student loved these September informational passages! I loved that they were one page but full of good information about the various topics, and had varying questions on comprehension and context clues. They were easy to use and my student also loved that the questions asked to use different colors to find the text evidence. Great resource, highly recommend!
My only critique would be I wish the passages weren’t numbered because the order of the passages didn’t correlate with the dates of the events throughout the month, and my student found one typo on the equinox passage; it said March 10th instead of March 20th.

I love these informational passages. I can use these for working on such skills as author’s purpose and main idea/details. They are short, but very informational and sometimes spark lots of discussion in class about the topic.

I ABSOLUTELY love this product. I have 90 students. I have a lot of neurodiverse learners. I give a big presentation about 9/11. I sent the 9/11 home for homework. I love the color coding and interacting with the text. I specifically bought this just for 9/11 only to realize there are a lot of great passages. I teach science and social studies to 4th graders. This product was excellent.
