What Makes Planner Stickers Useful for Teachers?
The best planner stickers for teachers do more than decorate a page. They help you quickly spot important dates, school responsibilities, and recurring tasks.
I like functional but cute stickers to help me keep track of things like:
- grading deadlines
- testing dates
- meetings
- fire drills
- field trips
- professional development
- school breaks
- lesson planning tasks
I still love decorative stickers, but when I’m planning, I want the pretty stickers to also help me stay organized.
4 Planner Sticker Collections I’m Using for Teacher Planning
1. Bloom Teacher Planner Stickers
One thing I noticed right away about the Bloom teacher stickers is how specific they are to actual school life.
The collection includes 586 stickers on eight sheets, with seven glossy sheets and one matte sheet you can write on.
There are stickers for things like standardized testing, grading, fire drills, meetings, and other school events. That’s what made me think, Okay, whoever created these understands teachers.
I also really like the diversity represented in the people on the stickers.
And yes, the funny little “Flix & Grade” sticker made me laugh. Sometimes your planner needs a little personality too.
2. Happy Planner Teacher Stickers
Even though I use a lot of Erin Condren planners, I really enjoy Happy Planner stickers.
In fact, I’ve gotten to the point where I sometimes prefer their sticker collections because there is so much variety.
You also don’t have to use a Happy Planner to enjoy the stickers. I use them in other planner brands whenever the size and design work for the layout.

3. Colorful Teacher Decal Stickers for Lesson Planning
This next sticker set is a little different because it isn’t technically marketed as a planner sticker collection.
These are multipurpose decal-style stickers that can be used on things like:
- laptops
- notebooks
- scrapbooks
- teacher totes
- backpacks
- planners
I bought them because I loved the variety and bright designs. Some of the rainbow stickers especially caught my attention.
Loose sticker packs can be a little harder to organize than sticker books, but they give you a lot more freedom to mix different designs into your planner.
4. Black Girl Magic Planner Stickers
This Black Girl Magic sticker book was a bonus find, but it became one of my favorite collections in the haul.
One thing that matters to me is seeing different shades of strong women represented.
Women of Color come in so many beautiful skin tones, and I love seeing that variety reflected in the stickers I use. I also appreciate the different hairstyles included throughout the collection.
I don’t love every single quote in the sticker book, and that’s okay. If I like the artwork but not the saying, I can simply trim off the wording and use the part I want.
These stickers also have more of a glossy finish, so I would test your regular planner pens first. If they smear, a fine-tip permanent marker such as a Sharpie may work better.
Easy Ways to Use Teacher Planner Stickers
You don’t need a complicated planning system to make stickers useful.
Here are a few simple ways I like to use them:
- Color-code different subjects or grade levels
- Mark grading and assessment deadlines
- Highlight meetings, testing dates, and school events
- Add visual organization to weekly lesson plans
I’ve also used colored dot stickers to organize lesson plans. Small visual cues like that make it much easier to scan a busy week without reading every single note.

Can You Write on Glossy Planner Stickers?
Yes, but the type of pen you use matters.
Matte planner stickers are usually easier to write on with regular pens. Glossy stickers can sometimes smear, especially if the ink takes longer to dry.
If your favorite planner pen doesn’t work well, try a fine-tip permanent marker and give the ink a few seconds to dry before closing your planner.
