My fifth graders LOVED this. It was so simple and yet it help them realized some similarities with each other. A common phase that could be heard from students they do not hang out with or who are shy, “Hey, I did not know you liked video games over cellphones! What is your favorite?” And this is how it happens for the many different slides! I plan to use this every year now!

We did the first one as a group so I could model for my students (all are struggling learners). They really liked the variety of questions. Hearing their different reasons made some of them want to change their answer. I love a good “argument” of why they made their choice. It was also helpful that pictures of real objects/events were used.

My students enjoyed this every morning as a do now after they copied their homework. Required them to think and express themselves on paper.
